Christmas & New Year Residents Programme 2026

          

C H R I S T M A S    P R O G R A M M E

 

THURSDAY 24th DECEMBER - Christmas Eve

8.30—9.30am: Enjoy a leisurely Breakfast

3.00pm:         Welcome Afternoon Tea with Devonshire Scones, Clotted Cream & Jam, Finger Sandwiches & Fancies.

6.30pm:         Sarah & Edward invite you to enjoy a drinks reception before dinner with a glass of Cranberry Mimosa & Canapés                              with Maggie singing before Dinner

7.00pm: Candlelit Three Courses and Coffee dinner followed by our Traditional Berry Head Christmas Carols.

Lots of fun with our Pianist in the Lyte Bar Neil Reed & Edward joining him to get us in the Festive Spirit.

Midnight mass at the local church for those who may like to attend.

 

FRIDAY 25th DECEMBER - Merry Christmas! Time to discover what Father Christmas has left for you…

8.30–9.30am: Breakfast is served Westcountry Breakfast or Perhaps Scrambled Egg & Smoked Salmon and a glass of Bucks Fizz .                          Then how about a brisk walk on Berry Head to blow the Cob Webs away and work up an appetite for lunch.

12.30pm:       Fabulous Six Course Festive Lunch including Coffee & Mince Tartlet.

3.00pm: His Majesty’s Royal broadcast & guess the weight of the cake in the lounge.

4.00pm: Enjoy a cup of Tea with Sandwiches, Christmas Cake  & Scones Perhaps a chance to curl up and watch a film or

                    Challenge one another to a board game!

7.00pm: The Berry Head House Evening! Enjoy a Festive Platters of tasty Nibbles & Sweet Treats from the buffet table 

Then maybe relax with a glass of Mulled Wine or your favourite tipples ordered from the bar.

Play a game of Carpet Bowls, or take part In the Annual Christmas Quiz!

 

FRIDAY 26th DECEMBER - Boxing Day!

8.30-9.30am: Enjoy a leisurely Breakfast

10.00am:      Dip in our pool, relax with the spa jets or perhaps go for a walk along the Breakwater and watch those that are brave 

 enough for a dip in the sea for the annual Boxing Day swim in the Bay, are you brave enough?

12-2.30pm: The Boxing Day Traditional Three course Roast Lunch with coffee is served.

 7.00pm: Boxing Day Dinner & Dance with a Candlelit Three Courses & Coffee

 

SATURDAY 26th DECEMBER - Boxing Day!

8.30-9.30am: Enjoy a leisurely Breakfast

10.00am:      Dip in our pool, relax with the spa jets or perhaps go for a walk along the Breakwater and watch those that are brave         

                    enough for a dip in the sea for the annual Boxing Day swim in the Bay, are you brave enough?

12-2.30pm:    The Boxing Day Traditional Three course Roast Lunch with coffee is served.

 7.00pm: Boxing Day Dinner & Dance with a Candlelit Three Courses & Coffee

 

SUNDAY 27th DECEMBER

8.30-9.30am Enjoy a leisurely Breakfast

 Time to explore the local heritage & picturesque fishing harbour, or why not take a

 walk along the stunning Coastal Path…Perhaps order a freshly packed picnic from our Chef?

7.00-9.00pm Candlelit Three Courses & Coffee Dinner

 

MONDAY 28th DECEMBER

8.00- 9.30am Enjoy a leisurely breakfast

7.00-9.00pm: Candlelit Three Courses & Coffee Dinner followed by live music with our Pianist Neil Reed in the Bar.

 

TUESDAY 29th DECEMBER 

8.00-9.30am   Breakfast is served in the Restaurant.

WEDNESDAY 30th DECEMBER

6.30pm:         Welcome Drinks Reception with Kir Royale & Canapés prior to dinner.                                                                                              7.00pm:         Enjoy a Candlelit Three Course and Coffee Dinner followed by live music with our Pianist in the Lyte Bar.

                      THURSDAY 31st DECEMBER - New Years Eve!

8.30-9.30am: Breakfast is served, then why not take a dip in the leisure & spa pool, or take a drive through the country lanes and         discover Dartmouth & Dartmoor?

7.00pm         Celebrate! Our New Year Dinner will be served including our Chefs Fabulous 5 Courses with coffee & petit fours for you to Enjoy ‘Toast into 2027’ enjoying music throughout the evening, Why not join in with the theme

“Diamonds are Forever 007” Or Dress to Impress, enjoy a glass of bubbly & mince pies at midnight.

                    Not forgetting Auld Land Syne then to dance the night away with Live Band & DJ during the evening.                  

FRIDAY 1st JANUARY - New Years Day

9.00am: Traditional breakfast or Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs served with Bucks Fizz OR spoil yourself and order

Champagne & Kedgeree.

         Why not a brisk walk on the Headland before lunch to blow the Cob Webs away and work up an appetite for lunch.

12-2.00pm: Three Course New Years Day Roast Lunch

7.30pm: Candlelit  Three Course & Coffee Dinner, followed by our famous New Year Quiz! Time to relax after last night.

Under 2 years are free of charge for Bed & Breakfast, 2 to 6 years £60.00 per night

6 to 11 half adult price and 12-14  2/3 adult price if sharing adult accommodation with two adults.

(having meals where adult meals are included in the package)

We require a non refundable deposit of 10% per person, (with a minimum of £100.00 per person).

2/3 of the package will be charged in event of cancellation within 8 weeks of arrival.

Insurance is available & advisable in the event of poor weather conditions

or having to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances
